Never trust your friends too much; learn to use your enemies
Be cautious with your friends – they'll betray you faster, as they're easily prone to envy. They also become spoiled and tyrannical. But hire a former enemy, and they'll be more loyal than a friend, because they have more to prove. In fact, you have more to fear from friends than from enemies. If you don't have enemies, find a way to have them.
